In my recent drawings i taken my love of collage and pattern further. Ive tried to sharpen the images up and have considered composition more.

Development of personal drawing

I've decided to draw flowers because they're beautiful to have around and brighten a room so it will be nice to have lots around and lose myself in drawing them. Ive started by doing line drawings playing with the shapes, lines and compositions. Although i now feel more confident in drawing flowers i want to get more playful and push myself further.

The surfaces are more simple and detail increased in this image, i also played more with colour.

Life Drawing

I really enjoyed life drawing which surprised me as i have previously struggled to get anything out of it. The way the class was taught and the atmosphere allowed me to relax and just draw. i wanted to experiment with colour and line and compostion and am really pleased with these drawings.i love the colours and the shapes and the playful feel they have to them. Some did not turn out quite so well but never the less they moved me forward. The more you draw the better you'll get i hope?
